This system represents the next evolution in assisted reset technology—combining refined geometry, tunable engagement, and uncompromising material quality into a single, purpose-built solution.
Constructed entirely from heat-resistant stainless steel—including the spring, the FIW ARS is built for long-term durability, consistent mechanical behavior, and resistance to wear under repeated cycling. Unlike mixed-material systems, every component maintains its geometry over time, ensuring reliable performance shot after shot.
At the heart of the system is a selectable reset configuration, allowing users to tailor trigger behavior to their preference while maintaining smooth, consistent engagement and reset feel.
To maximize compatibility across the M&P 2.0 lineup, the system is intentionally designed with a tunable trip interface, allowing fine adjustment based on caliber and frame size:
- Full-size .45 models – minimal to no tuning required
- 9mm / .40 full-size & compact frames – light tuning recommended
- Subcompact frames & smaller calibers – additional material refinement required
This tunability ensures optimized timing and engagement across a wide range of configurations, giving users precise control over system behavior.
